Vanishing Rural Georgia Art

My Photo

Madison, Georgia, United States
I am an artist living and working in Madison, Georgia, USA. I primarily paint in egg tempera but also do works in oils, pen & ink, and other visual art mediums. My focus is on the disappearing rural landscape of Georgia and on the native wildlife, farmhouses, and plant life associated with rural life. I have been painting with egg tempera for over 30 years and appreciate the subtle variations that I can achieve with layering translucent colors over each other.
